Cool Companions: Celebrating the Joy of Friendship with Polar Pals

Hello, crafty friends! I’m excited to share a winter-themed card featuring the sweet Polar Pals stamp set I illustrated for Pajama Crafter Stamps. This set is filled with heartwarming sentiments, and I used two of them on this card.

To create a clean and simple design, I aimed for a lot of white space. I stamped my polar pal image on a separate piece of cardstock to add depth, using black Memento Ink and heat embossing clear on top for a touch of shine. Heat embossing is a great way to keep Copics from bleeding, and it helps me stay within the lines.

After adding a hint of color with Copics, I stamped the image onto a beautiful paper from Box 13 by Your Paper Insider. A fussy cut around the image created a unique background for the card, adding texture and visual interest. I think the result is a perfect blend of simplicity and winter wonder.

Sending happy mail to someone for no real reason at all can bring a huge smile to both the sender’s and the receiver’s face. There’s something special about receiving a surprise letter or cars in the mailbox, and knowing that someone took the time to think of you and send a little pick-me-up can brighten up your entire day.

Whether it’s a funny card, a colorful postcard, or a handwritten note, sending happy mail is a simple yet thoughtful way to connect with others and spread some joy. So, grab a pen and some stamps, and start sending some happiness through the mail – you never know how much it might mean to someone.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️
