Three handcrafted greeting cards featuring winter-themed designs with snowflakes, along with text elements such as 'The chill of winter is warmed by your friendship' and 'Silent Night Holy Night.' The cards are displayed against a marble background, with decorative snowflake cutouts nearby.

The cards I am sharing with you today were all made using the newly released Stacked Holiday Sentiments stamp set. These sentiments are light and airy and become a graphic element themselves due to their stacked format.

A handmade greeting card featuring a blue and orange background, adorned with white snowflake die cuts and a central blue square with the text 'THE CHILL OF WINTER IS WARMED BY YOUR FRIENDSHIP.'

For this first card I did a Distress Oxide blend for the background then added a little white splatter. Next, I die cut some stitched snowflakes using white cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment on blue cardstock and assembled all the layers.

The next two cards were easy to make with their patterned paper accents. I heat embossed the sentiments and stars and layered on the bow and snowflakes to add just a little dimension for easy mailing for the holidays.

A handmade greeting card featuring a patchwork design with blue, red, and patterned sections. The card displays the text 'SILENT NIGHT, HOLY NIGHT' in gold lettering, alongside star and plaid patterns.

For the last card, I used blue Distress Oxide on the paper to tone down the bold pattern – it’s a great way to make the design more subtle.

A collection of patterned cardstock featuring various designs including polka dots, plaid, and stripes in a range of colors such as blue, green, orange, and wood textures.

Modifying elements to fit your project’s vibe can really make it shine!

A holiday card featuring blue and white colors with the text 'SILENT NIGHT' and 'HOLY NIGHT.' The design includes snowflakes and geometric patterns.

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️

  1. Wow! I love all three of these! And you gave me a great idea with your last 2 cards. I am in the process of making Christmas cards to donate and I have a lot of colorful patterned paper.

  2. I was so glad to see you used my new favorite Christmas sentiment stamps. They are on my wishlist along with the dies. Beautiful cards.

  3. Great use of the papers. I always struggle incorporating patterned papers in my creations. Thanks for showing this as an inspiration.

  4. You gave us three different cards, each one different from the other two but each one uses the color blue in some way. Each one is wonderful but personally I was especially drawn the one with the blue background with the white stars. You reminded me how beneficial pattern paper is for adding interest in cards as well as it is a time saver.

  5. Nice job of showcasing both sets. I really liked the last card. Possibly because blue is my favorite color
