Card Crafting Made Easy: Organization

Hi friends! Today, I’m excited to share some tips on organizing and modifying stamps to help you bring your design visions to life.

Meet Chip, the adorable potato chip from the Pajama Crafter stamp set, Chip Chip Hooray.

I wanted to give him a graduation makeover and needed a graduation cap. That’s when I turned to MustStash to see if I already had something in my collection.

MustStash is a game-changer for crafters, helping you manage your stash, discover new products, and find tons of inspiration. With its super-powered search, you can quickly find matching items in your stash and make the perfect card.

For this simple graduation card, I used a few of my favorite techniques:

  • Search and Rescue: I searched for “graduation” in MustStash and found the perfect hat stamp in my collection. The Hats Off stamp set actually has two sizes of graduation caps! It’s amazing how quickly you can locate stamps and get crafting!
  • Masking Magic: I stamped the graduation cap onto a masking sheet, fussy cut it, and used it to mask the image on my card. This allowed me to add Chip perfectly without any fuss.
  • Sentiment Savvy: I used to always search for the perfect sentiment based on size and shape. Now, I just modify as needed. I used Best Ever Craft Tape to cover part of the sentiment and stamp it in two locations, giving me the perfect placement and separation for my card design.

FUN FACT: I illustrated this stamp set for Pajama Crafter Stamps and it is packed with puns for all of my pun-lovers out there!

These tips have changed the way I approach my crafting, and I hope they’ll do the same for you!

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️
