Simple Fun Fold: Christmas Village

A simple fold can lead to a world of surprise and delight.

Hi crafty friends! Today’s card is all about effortless elegance – just a couple of folds and voilà! I used the Christmas Village Stamps to create a 3D winter wonderland, but the possibilities are endless! Adapt this idea to fit your style and make it your own.

I just cannot get enough of the Taupe Tidings Paper. I can’t stop reaching for it!

A handmade pop-up Christmas card featuring two houses, snow-covered trees, and the message 'Merry Christmas from our home to yours' inside.
  1. I started by cutting down an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 10 1/2″
  2. Score at 1 3/4″ and 3 1/2″ from each side
  3. Cut, score, fold & glue two spacers for the inside corners. TIP: i used 2 different sizes for my spacers to make one house sit in front of the other just a bit!
  4. Create your scene and have fun. Trim any pieces as necessary to make sure the card will still fold flat.

Here’s how you can make one too:

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️
