Change is afoot! Before I get into today’s card I have big news. I’m thrilled to share that I’m trading Ashburn, VA for Selbyville, DE this summer! After 20 years in our beloved home, my husband and I are building our dream home just 10 minutes from the beach! Mom’s joining the coastal adventure too! Can’t wait to see how this new chapter inspires my cardmaking. Now, let’s get to today’s project!
This card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
To celebrate our next chapter I decided to make an ocean themed thank you card for my Aunt Jeannie who is our awesome real estate agent.
I turned the diagonal stripes of the sketch into rays of sunlight shining down into the ocean. (I’ve got a video on YouTube if you would like to see the process. The link is below!)
