SUPER EASY FLIP CARDS

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a card I made after watching the Simon Says Stamp Create Together class with Heidi and Cathy Z on Friday. I really enjoyed watching them craft together and how Heidi was doing her own take on the designs. I decided I was going to try to do something a little different as well. I was one of the fortunate crafters that snagged a class kit right when they announced the class. Score! Not to worry though, everything is now available to purchase on the SSS website. I will provide links at the bottom of this post.

Now let’s dive into the details of my card…

I decided I wanted to make a flip card because I was having a hard time narrowing down which elements to use and a flip card has a little more real estate to work with. The bold graphics, font combinations and non-traditional colors made it easy to come up with a clean and modern design. My fav!

Instead of using the stencils as they were intended I took just a few elements and created different patterns on the card panels using several different ink colors. The colored cardstock and silver embossing made it easy to make the sentiment(s) pop! I chose to put a white circle on the inside to leave space to write a personal message and sign the card. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to create more things with this wonderful selection of items.

NOTE:  Affiliate links may be used (at no additional cost to you). This just means I get paid a very small commission when you shop with a company using a link I provide. I only promote products that I actually use and love! I appreciate your support for the time I spend sharing and linking all of these great products!

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️
