Fingers crossed for you – good luck!

The cards I am sharing with you today were all made using the newly released Stacked Holiday Sentiments stamp set. These sentiments are light and airy and become a graphic element themselves due to their stacked format.

For this first card I did a Distress Oxide blend for the background then added a little white splatter. Next, I die cut some stitched snowflakes using white cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment on blue cardstock and assembled all the layers.

The next two cards were easy to make with their patterned paper accents. I heat embossed the sentiments and stars and layered on the bow and snowflakes to add just a little dimension for easy mailing for the holidays.

For the last card, I used blue Distress Oxide on the paper to tone down the bold pattern – it’s a great way to make the design more subtle.

Modifying elements to fit your project’s vibe can really make it shine!

Stay tuned for more holiday card ideas!

Now on to the hop…..

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️

  1. Wow! I love all three of these! And you gave me a great idea with your last 2 cards. I am in the process of making Christmas cards to donate and I have a lot of colorful patterned paper.

    Great cards!

  4. You gave us three different cards, each one different from the other two but each one uses the color blue in some way. Each one is wonderful but personally I was especially drawn the one with the blue background with the white stars. You reminded me how beneficial pattern paper is for adding interest in cards as well as it is a time saver.
