POP OUT HEART

Today I’m sharing a cute Valentine’s card idea that is really easy to make.

  1. Cut a piece of cardstock to be slightly smaller than your finished card size. Trace half of a heart onto the folded side of your cardstock. I used a metal die and traced around the outside of the die (you’ll see why later).

2. Draw a small, vertical line on the outside edge of the heart (make sure it is parallel to fold of card).

3. Score the vertical line and cut out the other parts of the heart shape.

4. Fold your card and make sure the center of the fold is coming towards you. Attach this piece to the inside of your card.

5. Cut out another heart using the same die from step 1. Score it down the center and glue it to the heart cutout.

6. Design the front of your card and ta-da, you’ve got an adorable card that is sure to be remembered.

Just over here trying to spread a little sunshine one card at a time. I'm fueled by Dr. Pepper, sarcasm and especially puns. I hope my cards bring others even a portion of the joy that I feel creating them. #cre8yoursunshine☀️
